This place was awesome. The vibe was really cool. My only complaint is that our server wasn’t masked but she Ecuador m eventually noticed my discomfort cause she soon gave me a wider girth during our interactions. The shrimp bisque was the best thing on the menu. The fried green tomatoes were good but slightly overcooked. The tacos were not as good as before. The chicken sandwich was large but they skimped on the slaw so that crunchy texture was missing. Overall had a good time and would return.

First time visit. This place is destined to become a favorite. Creative cocktails. Unpretentious environment. The food was outstanding! The seafood was fresh, cooked perfectly, came out quickly, and tasted amazing. I like that you can choose your protein to go with your choice of 4 signature dishes. Or you can choose from a nice list of other entrees. My first impression couldn't have been better. I'll have to see if the rest of the menu is as impressive as the warm wilted spinach salad with blackened red fish.

Excellent in all aspects! Experience was great. Music was great, food was GREAT, puppies and people were great. Very clean venue. Wonderful weather. Certainly would do it again. We had what i call a Low Country Boil…excellent! Please check out pictures…

I found this little gem about a year ago. I love the food, the atmosphere, and the staff. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. I was indecisive on one visit, and the manager made it so that I could have both things without having to purchase two meals. They didn't even charge me for it the first few times, so I just have an extra large tip.☺️ Once they began charge to charge for it, it still wasn't much. My most recent visit was a double date night with friends. Everything was mostly great, as usual. There was just a minor issue with the shrimp being fried too hard, but that usually doesn't happen. I definitely recommend this place. I always take family and friends here when they come to visit. They have all loved it as well.

A friend and I came here at lunch time. We shared the green tomatoes appetizer and she had the crab cake which came with a spicy coleslaw and I had the shrimp & crab cream soup. The meal was very good. We hadn’t seen each other in a long time and had much to visit about so it was a bit noisy with the music. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated and some people were even eating outside! The waitress was very attentive & checked back often. Not so much to be a pest but often enough to be conscientious about our needs. The only problem that I brought up to the waitress is my water came with a straw in it. I explained she should check with her Manager but the Staff should check with the customer before putting straws in drinks. Plastic straws do not decompose in landfills and when the huge pile of garbage goes out into the ocean the sealife may think it’s food and try to eat it. The straws can harm the sealife or even kill them. Businesses need to look into straws that degenerate so they don’t hurt the Earth. And the first thing businesses need to do is have Staff ask customers if they want a straw. It will save the business money on their bottom line.

Stumbled upon this place a year ago and have not stopped thinking about it since. came back this year and it still lives up to exactly as i remembered it. THE BEST calamari I’ve ever had, amazing crawfish etouffee and outstanding dirty rice. We somehow got the last slice of the Apple Cobbler Cheesecake, and guess what? it was unbelievable.

Glad to get here for my birthday girl. We have been to other locations but they are closed now. Next closet one is in Ft Worth area. Great food and service. Large portions so come hungry or think leftovers. We lucked out and got shaded street parking but there is parking garage next door. Our first drink preference was no-go as lacked certain rum brand so got next choice which was super. Save room for the key lime pie with blueberry compote. Very yummy!!!

Kenneth was incredibly kind and knowledgeable when I called in about my dairy allergy and what could be accommodated for a to go order through Uber Eats. He even said he’d go to the kitchen to make sure they understood the requirements for our dish. Lovely presentation for being delivered from Richardson to Wylie - still nice and fresh.

After a busy day, hubby was in the mood for something different. So we decided to try Tricky Fish. We were very fortunate to find parking spaces right in front of Tricky Fish. Of note, street parking has a two-hour time limit. Staff greeted us upon entry and were very friendly. There were Mardi Gras decorations throughout the restaurant. Overall, every dish we tried was flavorful with good portion sizes. My favorite was the crabcake slaw, hubby really loved his etouffee, and our daughter coveted the crabcakes. Hubby ordered the apple cheesecake and thought it was pretty yummy.

Tricky Fish did not disappoint! We started with broiled oysters that were absolutely delicious, and the shrimp and crab bisque was rich and satisfying. For our mains, we each ordered the fried catfish and shrimp platter, which came with well-seasoned fries and a decent coleslaw. The ingredients were super fresh and everything was well-seasoned in my opinion — my fiancé felt the catfish could’ve used a bit more seasoning (he’s a big fan of Aunt Irene’s heavily seasoned style), but agreed the quality and freshness were on point. For drinks, I went with a refreshing mocktail made with coconut water, guava, and lime, while my fiancé grabbed a coke from the self-serve soda fountain — a nice, casual touch. From the moment we walked in, the experience was seamless. We were greeted and seated immediately, and our waitress Ashley was friendly, attentive, and great at guiding us through the menu. Food came out quickly and arrived hot and fresh. Would definitely come back — highly recommend if you’re looking for a solid seafood spot!
